You don't need to worry about porch pirates stealing your package if the delivery driver crashes through your porch.

An Amazon delivery van smashed through the front wall of a leasing office at an apartment building in Georgetown on Monday afternoon, Feb. 5, authorities said. 

Police and firefighters were called to the Longview apartments at 9 Patriot Way just before 12:30 p.m. when the van careened through the front of the building. 

The driver was able to climb out of the van before rescuers arrived. They are cooperating with police. 

No one was hurt in the crash. A building inspector was sent to the scene Monday to evaluate the damage to the building. 

Georgetown police are investigating the incident.
